CCD sensors consume 100 times more power than CMOS so they need a big battery. Therefore, for this reason, Nikon is using a CMOS sensor. It has a 3.0-inch high density 920 thousand dots color monitor. It has a viewing angle of 170 degrees with complete frame coverage. The monitor is a TFT and you can adjust its brightness as well. It can shoot continuously up to 6 frames per second. The accuracy is high and is further enhanced by 51-point autofocus with 3D focus tracing. It also has a dynamic dust reduction system and Nikon's exclusive Scene Recognition System (SRS). It has two LiveView shooting modes and has revolutionary picture control settings.
