I have decided to throw out some information on the 3rd Zune Generation because recently I was thinking of buying one. The new Zune has a capacity of 120 GB which I believe should be more than enough to fit in all your shows, movies, music and pictures. As all of the other products on the market, Zune is not perfect but the positives do overpower the negatives.

Positive :

- 120 GB
- 3.2 inch LCD
- Great sound
- Build in Wi-Fi that has many uses : visit the marketplace to buy music, use the social experience to make friends find or suggest songs and send messages
- Zune Pass - for $15/month, you can download unlimited songs for your computer and 3 Zunes which will expire only when the subscription expires
- Ability to see “Now Playing” song titles and artists on radio stations and also being able to buy them
- Introduction of games, clock and audio books
- Beautiful and easy to use interface
- Syncing Wi-Fi
- Subscriptions to podcast
- Great software in terms of design and what it does

Negative:

- The glass LCD is not at strong and impenetrable as the previous one, on the Zune 80
- Zune Pass and Zune Marketplace is currently not available in other countries, even though there are methods to overcome that (Do it at your own risk)
- Battery life specifications are not as accurate as presented on the product
- To fully enjoy all main and good features, Zune Pass is required
- Software can have bugs and crashes here and there (some people may also get confused because of the many animations)
- The new earphones in the package are not the same high-quality ones that came with the Zune 80

In the end, being a Canadian, I will wait a bit more until I buy it, as Microsoft announced that the Zune Pass and Marketplace will be available in Canada at the end of Fall. The Zune I will buy will probably end up being the Zune 80.
